The Assessor's job is to maintain accurate and current inventory and value's for every parcel in the Town of Campbell. The Assessor processes all exemptions, both 1 time applications and those that have to be renewed each year. All exemptions must be filed by MARCH 1ST. The assessment roll shows property assessments and appropriate exemptions for all parcels. Every year the roll, with tentative assessments, is made available for public inspection on or about MAY 1ST. The roll is available in the Assessor's office, the Steuben County Website (http://www.steubencony.org/), and the link on the town websites homepage. The Board of Assessment Review met the 4TH TUESDAY OF MAY at the Campbell Town Hall to hear assessment complaints. The BAR acts on these complaints and orders any changes to the tentative assessment roll. The tentative assessment roll is then made final on or about JULY 1ST.
